Pro Cycling and Amateur Cycling Races

Pro Cycling and Amateur Cycling Races in Washington, DC and Arlington, Virginia.

Registration is now open

Men’s Pro/Am Team Invitations have been sent out, and expect a full field of 140.

The Men’s Pro/1 is by invitation only, and we feel that by taking this approach, it best serves the most competitive teams, our supporting sponsors as well as the spectators and fans.

Men’s Pro/1 Invitation criteria includes: Registered UCI teams, Teams with defending champions from this event, teams with National Champions (in related road disciplines), teams co-branded with event sponsors, and up to 4 of the region’s most competitive teams. Teams need to be a minimum of 4 riders, and a maximum of 8.

By offering this field as an Invitational, we will ensure the highest level of competition. While there are many very deserving athletes that won’t be able to participate, we encourage them to reach out to established teams and programs as a path towards inclusion.

Thomas Craven, or Competition Director, is a seasoned veteran of this sport, having competed at the highest level and has managed some of the most successful professional teams. We will continue to do our best to offer clear selection criteria, and will remain open to making adjustments in the future.

We feel that the best way to continue to see our sport grow is to offer our limited field size to the most competitive and successful teams, rewarding those teams who are building on established and sustainable programs.

For teams and athletes that were not able to obtain an invitation, we would strongly consider participating in the Carter County Omnium in East Tennessee.
