The Pride Ride is a new category offered as part of the Challenge Ride.
It is open to anyone who has first register as part of the WorldPride DC 2025 Capital Cup (see instructions below)
About World Pride’s Capital Cup
Washington, DC is home to one of the largest and most vibrant LGBTQ+ sports communities in the world. Powered by Team DC, this incredible network of athletes, administrators, and volunteers—over 7,000 strong—is coming together to create an unforgettable multi-day sports festival during WorldPride DC 2025. The Capital Cup will showcase over 20 sports, hosted across various iconic venues throughout the nation's capital.

About the Capital Pride Alliance:
The Capital Pride Alliance is dedicated to celebrating and supporting the LGBTQ+ community throughout the year with diverse programs and events in Washington, DC and the National Capital Region. Through its efforts, the Alliance works to educate, inspire, and protect the rights of the LGBTQ+ community—preserving the history and progress of Pride for current and future generations.
About Team DC:
Team DC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting the LGBTQ+ community in the Washington, DC metropolitan area through sports. Committed to combating discrimination in sports, Team DC offers scholarships to LGBTQ+ student-athletes and provides a network of sports opportunities for the local LGBTQ+ community. The organization also encourages participation in a wide range of amateur sports competitions, both locally and globally, fostering inclusivity and support within and beyond the DC area.
HOW TO REGISTER FOR THE PRIDE RIDE
Step 1: Register for the Capital Cup, upon completion, you will receive a unique ACCOUNT/ATHLETE NUMBER
Step 2: Register for the Pride Ride. Select the “Pride Ride” category (see below)
Step 3: Put your unique ACCOUNT/ATHLETE NUMBER on the registration form.
