Big Names and Local Fan Favorites Set to Return for This Year’s Pro Races

Arlington, Va. – The Armed Forces Cycling Classic Pro/Am races will take place on Saturday, June 9th in Clarendon and Sunday, June 10th in Crystal City. This year’s lineup of professional cyclists features a collection of former AFCC podium finishers, including defending champions in both the men’s and women’s fields.

In the Men’s Pro 1 event, UnitedHealthcare’s Carlos Alzate will return to defend his title as the 2017 Clarendon Cup winner, supported by a talented squad that includes 2015 USAC Pro National Criterium Champion Eric Marcotte.
